National Association of Park Foundations to present at the New England Park Association in September, 2015.

Representatives of the National Association of Park Foundations (NAPF), an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization, will be on hand as a featured presentation of the New England Park Association (NEPA) Annual Conference.  The NEPA Annual Conference will be held at the  Light House Inn, Dennis, MA September 16-18, 2015.


“On behalf of the NAPF board of directors and sponsors, we are grateful for the invitation to present to those attending the upcoming annual New England Park Association Conference, said NAPF Executive Director Donald Ortale.  “We thank NEPA board members, John Howe, First VP and Eric O’Brien, Director, for the invitation and honor to present important information about the relevance of local park foundations during the upcoming NEPA Conference this Fall.”

The NAPF, headquartered in suburban Chicago, is dedicated to strengthening Park Foundations and other “Friends-of-the-Parks” non-profit organizations across the United States whose mission it is to support and enhance the local park experience.  


About the New England Park Association:

The New England Park Association was conceived in March, 1898 by George A. Parker, Superintendent of Keney Park in Hartford, Connecticut.

Today, the New England Park Association continues to provide an important network of ideas, information, professional development and support for over 400 members throughout the region.
