NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PARK FOUNDATIONS to present in Waunakee, Wisconsin on February 25th!
Villa Park, IL, February 11, 2015— Representatives of the National Association of Park Foundations (NAPF), an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization, will be on hand to present important information about the NAPF during the upcoming
Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association – Region 3 meeting in Waunakee, WI on February 25th.
“On behalf of the NAPF board of directors and sponsors, we are grateful for the invitation to present to those attending the upcoming Region 3 meeting in Waunakee, WI,” said NAPF Executive Director Donald Ortale. “We thank Craig Anderson, Assistant Executive Director of NAPF and Sue McDade of the Village of Waunakee for this outstanding opportunity.”
The NAPF, headquartered in suburban Chicago, is dedicated to strengthening Park Foundations and other “Friends-of-the-Parks” non-profit organizations across the United States whose mission it is to support and enhance the local park experience.
“When Craig Anderson contacted us about the NAPF and the organizations willingness to present to our Region 3 attendees, we were excited to add the NAPF to our agenda for the February 25th meeting,” said Sue McDade. “We look forward to hearing more about the NAPF and how the organization will be able to support our members in their search to organize or strengthen Park Foundations or Friends-of-the-Parks groups of our local parks throughout our region in Wisconsin.”
The NAPF will be among 3 presenting organizations on the agenda for the PARR 3 meeting on February 25th. Each organization will present for about 30 minutes followed by a question and answer session and lunch.
