Julia Plucker has been involved with lobbying activities at the local, state and federal level for more than 20 years. An attorney, Plucker has been a member of the Stinson Morrison Hecker P.C. and Fraser Stryker Law Firms.She has spearheaded numerous lobbying efforts and public campaigns, and has managed a variety of legal and governmental relations issues.In 2006, Plucker founded her own governmental solutions firm, representingcorporations, associations and nonprofits in front of various governmental entities, including City Councils, County Boards and the Nebraska Legislature. Along with her lobbying efforts and public relations campaigns, Plucker has also been a key organizer and leader on a number of high-profileissues within the City of Omaha and State of Nebraska, including the Keep the Money in Nebraska expanded gambling proposal in 2004.
Plucker earned a bachelor’s degree from Augustana College in 1993 and a law degree in 1996 from the University of Nebraska.
