"The National Association of Parks Foundation assisted our effort in strengthening our mission and provided valuable guidance to establish a solid foundation for the Carol Stream Parks Foundation. Since our inception over 8 years ago, our foundation has contributed more than $10,000 in scholarship money to the Carol Stream Park District for those families in need. In addition, the Foundation supported a community effort to build a veteran's memorial in collaboration with the Village of Carol Stream and the local VFW. In the past 2 years the Carol Stream Parks Foundation has made great strides in sharing our mission. The National Association of Parks Foundation was instrumental in providing the right tools to help us achieve our goals and continues to assist our efforts."

Founding Member, Past Chair
"As the Executive Director of the Montgomery Parks Foundation, I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how much we value our membership in the National Association of Park Foundations (NAPF). In particular, my monthly conversations with Membership Service Consultant Dr. Nathan Schaumleffel have been instrumental in assisting us as we work through some of the thorniest issues that arise in our efforts to support Montgomery Parks. I would highly recommend membership in the NAPF to all those organizations that raise money for local and regional parks."

"Our member agencies have long known the importance of building strong community support for their park agencies, and the National Association of Park Foundations (NAPF) has proven to be the resource for friend’s groups and park foundations across the country. The insight and guidance NAPF provides is invaluable, especially as more and more park and recreation agencies look for creative ways to explore alternate sources of revenue."
Senior Manager of Education
National Recreation and Park Association
"The Wisconsin Park & Recreation Association and its membership agencies have truly benefitted from all of the statewide presentations that the National Association of Park Foundations has provided to date. It is critical for our membership agencies to have community support if their park and recreation services and operations are to continue and to be enhanced in the future. NAPF has shown how important it is for Foundations to be created to assist in generating needed support funding, as well as to strengthen those that have Foundations, but have been struggling with their purpose and funding contacts. NAPF is the answer!"
